Democates Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama Spoke openly today about the topic of "clean coal". While coal is one of the most unclean forms of fossil fuels and their efforts to clean up the industry are noble, the focus should stand on the fact that it none the less contributed to Global Warming. Both democratic candidates are supporting an agenda which plans to support commercially untested and so far economically nonviable ways of converting coal into electricity without producing large quantities of (Co2) greenhouse and Sulfur Dioxide.
The focus needs to be placed in the direction of cleaner sources of energy such as Solar, Bio, and Wind. Regardless of the method in which coal is processed it remains a strong producer of the worlds Co2 emissions.
